This 100% vegan restaurant has been well established in Bangkok for a long time. The food is of a quality that is quite simply superb. Large portions of great tasting wholesome veggie grub. Loads of options, do not be put off by the fake meat dishes if that isn’t your thing, as there are plenty of other options as well including bean pattie style burgers, all the Thai stuff that you’d normally expect and an array of salads, starters, spring rolls etc. If you are still aren’t full, there is a whole fridge full of VEGAN DESSERTS including little slices of vegan cakes. Vegan ice-cream too! Oh yes! We were quite blown away.
As for the decor, May Veggie Home is a fairly large cafe style diner which is perhaps a little plain in character compared to the other places I’ve been to in Bangkok, but the food really is the important thing and that’s what this place gets just right. It’s also good to know that they are never short of space or tables, as Bangkok establishments can sometimes get a little cramped.
