Nuson Vegetarian is a small, off the beaten track Thai local veggie place just off the South Eastern corner of the moat. It’s in a central location but since it’s quite far down a side road that doesn’t really lead to anywhere special you’d have to know about it to find it. Just walk down Ragang Road from the corner of the moat and you will see it on the right hand side of the road.

​It’s just a modest, local place with about five or six buffet dishes to choose from. They also have some nice prepacked things like Thai veggie spring rolls and some sweet desserts. It’s plain and basic.

​The food is all vegan as far as we know, but it’s best to check on the dish that you’re wanting when you go. Just be careful at the drinks counter because the drinks that look milky are indeed just that and not soy milky. You will only know this if you can read the ingredients in Thai. They also have some bottled juices and things which are all fine.

In addition, they also sell some products that you can use for cooking at home such as sauces or fake meats.

Prices are extremely cheap as it’s just local food. Not a bad place to know about it if you’re in the area, although there are better places in the close proximity. If you’re planning to visit, go as early as possible to get the best options.
