Bangkok is not as famous as Chiang Mai for vegan food but it might come as a surprise to you to learn that Thailand’s capital has just as many vegan restaurants and even has some very unique restaurants with dishes on offer that cannot be found anywhere in Chiang Mai.
Although Chiang Mai has a high number of cheap Thai style restaurants, in contrast, Bangkok has fewer of these but more high end restaurants that have good quality and rare dishes but these come at a pricier cost.
In Bangkok, you will find it is much easier to eat healthy whole food plant-based meals and even raw meals than it is in Chiang Mai. You also have the option of much more western style and extravagant foods that you might find in England or America such as vegan cheese pizzas, chocolate fudge sundaes, etc.
