I remember when I first visited Sri Thanu many years ago and many restaurants were closed for Songkran. There was also a heavy downpour and many restaurants were closed or were not able to make me anything because of power loss from the storm. But not Eat.co! At that moment I would have been happy with anything but the fact that the meal they served was also the bomb makes the occasion very memorable!
Since that time I have been coming back to Eat.Co lots of times and the food never, ever fails to amaze me. Even better is that they now have 2 branches. There is the original branch in Sri Thanu and a new, slightly smaller sister branch down at Thong Sala, opposite the pier. The menus are slightly different but what is the same in both is top notch quality food.
Every meal I have had in both restaurants has been mind-blowing. Among my favourites are the pancakes and waffles that you can get from the Thong Sala branch. If you like sweet these are some of the most delectable pancakes I have ever had anywhere especially with all the chocolate nibs and coconut whipped cream.
At the original branch you can find things like a variety of burgers, all of which are the nuts! Try the beetroot, or the falafel one, with delicious fries, you will love them. They also do a Beyond burger but we personally prefer the veg/bean-based style patties because they are just so tasty without having to imitate meat.
Leave room for dessert! The original branch has a range of desserts which are all gluten-free and made in-house. Try the snickers cake it’s an absolute dream.
Eat.co definitely ranks in my top 5 restaurants of all time and I would eat here every day if I could.
